Ting Stands With Domestic Workers

Tuesday, March 13, 2018

(San Francisco) – Assemblymember Phil Ting (D-San Francisco) joined a Domestic Workers Rally in San Francisco to call attention to the abuse of immigrants, both documented and undocumented, many of whom are employed as domestic workers. Assemblymember Ting told the rally he wrote Assembly Bill 2314 to ensure workers know their rights. “We are all Californians,” said Assemblymember Ting. “What we want to do is make sure that every domestic worker, all 300,000 domestic workers who are working in people’s homes, caring for their children and taking care of seniors know their rights.” To see all of Assemblymember Ting’s remarks and learn more, please view this Assembly Assets video.
