Congratulations to Bijan Sartipi

I'm proud to honor Bijan Sartipi, who recently retired from CalTrans after more than three decades at the agency. Since 2002, he had been Director of District 4, overseeing many of the Bay Area's biggest transportation projects. In San Francisco, that included the $1.1B Presidio Project which opened in July 2015, replacing Doyle Drive. With his parents present, Bijan (far right) accepted the Assembly resolution thanking him for his leadership and service. We wish him all the best in retirement.
