Important Update: SNAP Benefits and Local Food Resources

Dear Neighbor,

Because of the ongoing federal government shutdown, millions of Californians are expected to lose access to their SNAP (CalFresh) benefits this November. It’s unacceptable that working families, seniors, and individuals who depend on these essential benefits are being left in limbo because of Washington’s failure to act. No one should go hungry because Congress can’t do its job.

Summer Update from Assemblymember Catherine Stefani

As your Assemblymember, I’m working hard in the final month of this year’s legislative session to deliver results that matter, including investing in public safety, protecting access to healthcare, and defending our democracy. With bills now being finalized, I’m making sure our district’s priorities are front and center in Sacramento.

One of the most important steps we’ve taken recently is passing legislation to put congressional redistricting before California voters. While other states are undermining democracy, California is doing the opposite—putting voters in charge.

Summer Update from Assemblymember Catherine Stefani

As your Assemblymember, I’m taking on more challenges and fighting for solutions that meet this moment—from advancing legislation to protect public safety and expand reproductive care, to standing up for vulnerable communities across our district and beyond. With new responsibilities and more constituents to serve, I remain deeply committed to being your voice in Sacramento.

San Francisco & San Mateo County Immigration Resources

Dear Neighbor,

In light of recent news surrounding federal immigration enforcement, I want to make sure our community has the tools, information, and support needed to stay safe and informed. San Francisco and San Mateo County are home to a wide network of trusted immigration and legal service organizations, and I’m proud to stand with them in their work to support our neighbors.
