In light of recent news surrounding federal immigration enforcement, I want to make sure our community has the tools, information, and support needed to stay safe and informed. San Francisco and San Mateo County are home to a wide network of trusted immigration and legal service organizations, and I’m proud to stand with them in their work to support our neighbors.
Below is a comprehensive and easy-to-reference list of immigration support organizations in San Francisco and San Mateo County, along with Rapid Response Networks that can assist during urgent situations.

Rapid Response Networks
Rapid Response Networks are community-led groups trained to respond to ICE activity in real time. They offer emergency hotlines, legal observers, immigration attorney referrals, and Know Your Rights support.
San Francisco Rapid Response Network
Phone: (415) 200-1548
Text or call to report ICE activity or seek legal support
San Mateo County Rapid Response Network
Phone: 203-NO-MIGRA (203-666-4472)

If ICE comes to your door:

- Do not sign anything without legal advice
- Record or write down badge numbers and vehicle info if safe to do so

How My Office Is Supporting
My office is working in coordination with local organizations and legal service providers to:
- Support emergency legal aid and immigrant defense efforts
- Share Know Your Rights materials in multiple languages (Available at 455, Golden Gate Ave, Suite 14600, San Francisco, CA 94102)
- Advocate for local protections and oversight of immigration enforcement
I know that many in our community feel called to speak out and stand up for our immigrant neighbors, friends, and loved ones. If you choose to join a protest or demonstration, please do so peacefully and with care. Stay alert, and do not allow provocations to escalate the situation. In moments like these, our strength lies in our unity.
If you or someone you know needs help accessing these resources, please don’t hesitate to contact my office at Assemblymember.Stefani@Assembly.ca.gov or (415) 557-2312.
Sincerely,
Catherine Stefani
