As your California Assemblymember, I am proud that the Assembly recently passed House Resolution 109, declaring June 2018 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month in California.

In celebration of California's diversity and support for the LGBT community, you are warmly invited to march with me in the annual San Francisco Pride Parade on Sunday, June 24, 2018.

This year's Pride theme is "Generations of Strength." From the first Pride celebration in 1970, to the election of Harvey Milk to the Board of Supervisors, to passage of San Francisco's landmark Domestic Partnership law, to full legalization of marriage equality, San Francisco's LGBT community and allies have continually bent the arc of history toward justice.  We march in June to celebrate history and inspire a new generation of heroes.
