It is a pleasure to announce that my office is now accepting nominations for our annual Women of the Year Awards. Every March, in celebration of Women's History Month, the Assembly honors outstanding women for their service and leadership within our communities.

I invite you to nominate a woman who has made a significant difference this past year or throughout her lifetime. We will be selecting one honoree from each county in the 19th Assembly District - one from the Westside of San Francisco and one from northern San Mateo County - as our Women of the Year.

I look forward to receiving your nominations and hearing about all the amazing women who help make our community such a wonderful place to live. Please email Ryan.McGilley@asm.ca.gov with your nomination, along with a short biography and a summary of why you think she should be considered. 

I hope you will take a few moments to nominate an outstanding woman by February 15, 2024.
