Spring is here. That means there will be some upcoming opportunities for us to connect over the next few months. Click on any one or all of the events to RSVP. If you have symptoms of COVID or any other illness, please refrain from attending.
- Saturday, April 22 at 10 am: In support of the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department and Golden Gate Audubon Society, we will improve habitat for local and migrating birds at North Lake in Golden Gate Park including removing invasive plants and maintaining gardens for Earth Day. Information will also be available about what California is doing to support our environment and address global warming.
- Friday, May 12 at 12:30 pm: As Chair of the California State Assembly Budget Committee, I am organizing a Budget Town Hall at the Ronald M. George State Complex Auditorium, near Civic Center. I will share with you current information about the Legislature's and Governor's priorities in a budget year that is likely to see less tax revenues. You are strongly encouraged to wear a mask at this indoor site.
- Sunday, June 25 at 10 am: Celebrate love, diversity and equal rights for everyone by marching with me at the San Francisco Pride Parade."Looking Back and Moving Forward" will be this year's theme. Your friends and family are welcome to join us too. The location of where to meet prior to the parade will be emailed to those who RSVP.
