Please join me at this year's San Francisco Pride Parade for a joyous celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. It will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023.
It's unfortunate there are efforts across the country to thwart the progress we've made in the fight for equality. Marching in the parade together is one way to openly stand with members of our community and celebrate our diversity. Under this year's theme, "Looking Back and Moving Forward," we can be proud of what we've accomplished to advance equality, while also uniting with hope to accomplish greater inclusiveness.
The parade route begins south of Market Street (close to the Embarcadero MUNI/BART station) and runs to the San Francisco Civic Center. We will be meeting at 10:00 a.m. in the Financial District. Once Pride Parade organizers notify me of our precise meeting location, I will send the information to those who RSVP. Anyone marching with us will receive a commemorative t-shirt and make great memories.
Please RSVP here by June 15 to attend the parade with us. Invite your friends and family too to join us! Lunch will be served at an outdoor reception, co-hosted by your San Francisco delegation: me, Senator Scott Wiener and Assemblymember Matt Haney. Location will be provided to marchers at the end of the parade.
