It’s Crunch Time

Voting matters. Election Day is days away, and it's an opportunity to have your voice heard. With your ballot, you can elect leaders to represent you and decide the fate of numerous initiatives/local measures that touch on important issues, such as housing, education funding, same sex marriage, public safety and more.

The deadline to register to vote for the November 5th election has passed. Your next option is to register in-person at a San Mateo County Voter Center, then vote by casting a provisional ballot. Many locations are open prior to Election Day, November 5, including this weekend. Find a site near you here.

For those already registered to vote, you may have already received your ballot. After filling it out and signing the outside of the envelope, you have three ways to send it back: U.S. mail, Official Dropbox or at a voting site. Specific locations can be found here.

Help spread the word to your friends and family about the election options. The more we can get people to vote, the bigger our voice.
