While much of California’s triple-digit temperatures will impact the inland areas, our Assembly district will still experience hot weather that we are not used to.
Heat Advisory Tips

While much of California's triple-digit temperatures will impact the inland areas, our Assembly district will still experience hot weather that we are not used to. For the next several days, please:

  • Stay hydrated
  • Wear light clothing
  • Avoid strenuous activity or exercise
  • Close your window blinds/shades during the day
  • Charge your devices, in case of power outages
  • Check in on vulnerable residents like the elderly

There are also several cooling centers with air conditioning open, in case you need them. The California Office of Emergency Services has them listed here by county. For San Francisco, several public libraries can provide some relief. In San Mateo County, public libraries and senior/community centers are available during the heatwave.

Stay safe, and I hope are still able to enjoy your Fourth of July weekend despite the weather.
