Election Day is just weeks away - Tuesday, November 5. We'll be electing leaders and deciding on issues that impact us. Be sure your voice is heard and vote.
Counties begin to send out vote-by-mail ballots the week of October 7 to all Californians who are registered to vote. Haven't done so? Just click here to be taken to the Secretary of State's website.
If you're not sure whether you're registered to vote, or which address you have on file, you can check your voter status here. Among the things you can look up:
- Whether or not you are registered to vote
- Where you are registered to vote
- Your political party preference
- Your language preference for election materials
Note that the last day to register to vote is October 21. After that, you may register to vote at your local polling place and cast a provisional ballot up to and including Election Day.
Help spread the word to your friends and family about the election and the upcoming voter deadline. The more people we can get to participate, the better for our democracy.
